This allowed America to make sure that all sides met in a peaceful manner and this of course worked out pretty well for everyone. After World War I the United States and Britain got together and formed NATO.When America and its allies began to work together against the Soviet Union many of the other countries in the region had very different views of what the situation was. The Soviets were often thought of as savages because of their repressive style of government and rule. The most important thing is that the USSR collapsed in 1991 thanks to the efforts of America and the rest of the world.The United States now has many close allies and friends around the world and that is thanks to America's exceptionalism and how they helped the rest of the world out during the latter part of the twentieth century. Many people don't realize that all of these allies and friends have had to work together on common issues like the Middle East for example. After a period of time many will turn to each other for support and friendship.It is very important for anyone who wants to know more about history to always read about current events in the past and understand how things are currently going. It is easy to get caught up in the present tense while in the past and say things that may not be true. Learning about the past is the best way to see the future.It would be easy to just do some research and write a research paper on current events but that is not really the point of it. It is a good idea to learn more about how things are currently going so that you will have a better understanding of where you are in the world today. While it may be easy to learn a little about the past and talk about it to others, it is harder to learn about the future and make sure that y ou know where you are going.
